Julia Masch, born and raised in Rockland County, graduated from Fordham University School of Law and was admitted to practice law before the Courts of the State of New York in 1991.
From 1999 – 2001 Julia served as Director of Legal Training for the NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, where she developed and conducted training programs throughout the State of New York to educate attorneys and legal professionals on the dynamics of domestic violence. In 2001, Julia returned to private practice where she continues to be devoted to the areas of family and matrimonial law.
She has lectured for the New York State Bar Association, the Rockland County Bar Association and the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association on these and other family law topics and co-authored an article on Family Offense proceedings. Ms. Masch is currently serving as President of the Rockland County Woman’s Bar Association, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society of Rockland, the Rockland County Jewish Community Center and Lifeline Clinic and is passionate about her volunteer work at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
Julia’s legal experience includes appearances before the Rockland, Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Sullivan and New York County Supreme and Family Courts. She has also appeared before the Appellate Divisions of both the Second and Third Departments.
Her professional affiliations include membership in the Rockland County Bar Association and the Rockland County Women's Bar Association.
